They have an inability to say "I don't know." Frankly, the mind is so complicated, I have the feeling of "I don't know" every single day that I work with patients. The amazing thing is, that even though I don't know, my patients get better even when their problems are beyond me! I don't think you are paranoid. Thoughts ("Memes") are SO powerfull. I am dissappointed, every day, to the number of people who read this "modern Eugenics" propaganda and take it as truth- simply because it is written in print (and we all know how powerfull and "author"itative- ahem- tthe printed word can seem..) I love science and psychology...but when will humans accept that we simply don't KNOW. We theorize.. That’s part of my argument against it. Regardless of whether it’s “true or false” the implications are the same, are they not? Whether it’s “true or false” flows from your beliefs…and there is certainly nothing approaching evidence on the ‘true’ side of this argument in an empirical sense.
